クラシック音楽とヴィブラフォンの出会いをはじめ、岩手に生きる現代の作曲家である白藤淳一氏、山形大学で教鞭を執る名倉明子先生、宮城教育大学で教鞭を執る吉川和夫先生など東北にゆかりのある作曲家とともに現代の音楽の魅力を探ります。佐原詩音作品では、北海道のアイヌ民族の言語を奏者が朗読しながら演奏する試み、水野修孝作曲のヴィブラフォン独奏のための三章は、NHKでのテレビ・ラジオでも度々放送され、その都度みずみずしい感動をもたらす名作として知られています。現代の作品に初めて触れる方々にも作品ごとにトークを交えて楽しい時間を過ごしていただけること間違いなしです。ヴィブラフォンのあるところに一歩踏み出してみませんか。
