ピアノ

仙台市生まれ。仙台第二高等学校、桐朋学園大学音楽学部ピアノ専攻卒業。同時に指揮も学ぶ。卒業後渡欧し、ベルギーのアントワープ音楽院ピアノ最高課程、特別課程をそれぞれ、優秀、首席の成績をおさめ修了。在学中にピアノフォルテ、チェンバロも習得。高山仁、大岩秀俊、長島圭太、中島和彦、ロベール・グローロ、ジョス・ファン・インマゼールの各氏に師事。1997年オランダのガウデアムス国際現代音楽コンクール第3位。ベルギー、パリ、イギリスほかヨーロッパ各地に音楽祭に出演する。フランス、ハンガリーの国営放送で演奏が放送され、ル・モンド誌で好評を得る。帰国後はソロ、室内楽奏者として活動、数々の音楽祭、ＮＨＫ-ＦＭ多数出演ほか、様々なオーケストラとの共演を行う。現代音楽アンサンブル「アンサンブル・ノマド」のピアニスト、指揮者として活動するほか、ダンスなどの他分野とのコラボレーションも多い。（一財）地域創造公共ホール音楽活性化事業登録アーティストとして日本全国でクラシック音楽振興の活動をおこなうほか、さまざまな企画プロデュースも行い、’夏木マリ「印象派Ⅶ、Ⅷ」、’東京都主催「伝統と未来」、’横浜市文化振興財団主催「Just Composed in Yokohama」、仙台市主催「超難解音楽祭」の音楽監督、プロデュースなどの活動を行う。近年は特にメシアンの演奏に力を注いでおり、「幼子イエスに注ぐ20の眼差し」全曲（2005年よりほぼ毎年演奏）、1時間かかる歌曲「ハラウィ」、室内楽「世の終わりのための四重奏曲」、2台ピアノのための「アーメンの幻影」などを演奏。またメシアン作曲の3時間半かかるピアノソロの大作「鳥のカタログ」全曲、ジョンケージ作曲プリペアードピアノのための1時間かかる大作「ソナタとインターリュード」全曲演奏は話題を呼んだ。東京室内歌劇場でP.グラス、M.ナイマン、P.ヒンデミットのオペラを指揮。お茶の水女子大学、桐朋学園大学などで後進の指導も行っている。2001年せんだい芸術祭大賞、2001年度宮城県芸術選奨新人賞受賞。
