SUKEGAWA Ryuコントラバス

国立音楽大学卒業。桐朋学園大学研究科修了。コントラバスを松野茂、池松宏、ゲーリー・カーの各氏に師事。第７回日本クラシック音楽コンクール第２位入賞。
11年間、札幌交響楽団首席奏者を務めた後、2014年4月より仙台フィルコントラバス・ソロ首席奏者に就任。2011年、ピアニスト・寺嶋陸也氏とともに、ソロリサイタルを開催。幼いころから親交のあった林光にコントラバスソナタを献呈され、世界初演をし、好評を博す。2015年4月には、仙台フィルシーズン・オープニングコンサートにおいて、ソリストを務める。宮城野区文化センター室内楽セレクション「Music from PaToNa」のプランナーを務めるほか、客席と舞台の隔たりのないサロンコンサート「RYU’S Essential」を仙台で始動。2000年4月から2014年3月まで北海道教育大学非常勤講師、2014年より仙台ジュニアオーケストラの講師を務めるほか、すべてのコントラバス奏者のためのセミナー「コントラバスミーティング」主宰するなど後進の指導にもあたる。助川兄弟でのライブ、ソロ、室内楽など幅広い分野で活躍中。
