Svetlin ROUSSEVヴァイオリン
1976年ブルガリア･ルセに生まれる。5歳よりルセ音楽院に学び、後にパリ国立高等音楽院及びパリ･エコール･ノルマルでジェラール･プーレ、ドゥヴィー･エルリー、ジャン=ジャック･カントロフ等に師事。インディアナポリス国際、メルボルン国際室内楽、ロン=ティボー国際等での受賞を誇り、2001年には第1回仙台国際音楽コンクールで優勝、併せてバッハ賞、駐日フランス大使賞、聴衆賞も受賞した。
ルセフはバロックから現代音楽まで幅広いレパートリーを誇り、特に近年はコンサート、レコーディングの両面において、パンチョ･ヴラディゲロフの作品を多く取り上げるなど、ブルガリア出身作曲家の作品普及に力を注いでいる。それらの貢献に対し、2006年、ブルガリアの“ミュージシャン･オブ･ジ･イヤー”選出、2007年にはブルガリア文化省より“La Lyre de Crystal”（クリスタル･リラ）が贈られている。
これまでに、チョン・ミョンフン、ユーディ･メニューイン、レオン･フライシャー、マレク･ヤノフスキ、ジョン･アクセルロッド、フランソワ=グザヴィエ･ロト、ジャン=ジャック・カントロフ、デニス・ラッセル・デイヴィス、レオ・フセイン、エミール・タバコフなどの指揮の下、ソリストとして世界各地で高い評価を得、室内楽の分野でも、ジャン=マルク･ルイサダ、エリック･ル･サージュ、フィリップ･カサール、アントワーヌ・タメスティ、ポール･メイエ、フィリップ･ベルノルド、アルト・ノラス、ジャン・ワンなどと共演を重ねている。日本では、東京フィルハーモニー交響楽団、仙台フィルハーモニー管弦楽団などに招かれており、「ストラディヴァリウス・コンサート」、Hakuju Hall、浜離宮朝日ホールでのリサイタルなどで、その揺るぎないテクニックと豊かな表現力が絶賛された。
録音も多く、ヴラディゲロフの作品集、カール･アマデウス･ハルトマンのヴァイオリン協奏曲「葬送協奏曲」、イザイ、フランクなどの作品を収録した“De l’Ecole Franco-Belge du Violon”およびグリーグ、メトネルの第3番ソナタがリリースされている。2015年にはシベリウスおよびヴラディゲロフの協奏曲を収めた最新CDが発売され、好評を得ている。

無伴奏ヴァイオリンと言えば、まずはこの作品。J.S.バッハのソナタ第1番とパガニーニの24の奇想曲をお楽しみいただいたあとは、少々（かなり？）珍しいフリストスコフの小品を。最後は、これも無伴奏ヴァイオリンの名曲、イザイの「バラード」をどうぞ。
