2002年チャイコフスキー国際コンクール最高位入賞(１位なしの２位）。2001年サラサーテ国際ヴァイオリン・コンクール優勝。
R.リプセット、D.ディレイ、川崎雅夫、Z.ブロンの各氏に師事。ロサンジェルス・フィル、デトロイト響、ヒューストン響、シンシナティ響、ボルティモア響、サンフランシスコ響、クリーヴランド管など主要な北米オーケストラと共演し、幼少時より豊富なステージ経験を積む。ラヴィニア音楽祭では、芸術監督エッシェンバッハと共演し、“エッシェンバッハの躍動感あるピアニズムに彼女は常に音楽的に音をぴったりと合わせ、すばらしい落ち着きと自信を持って演奏した/シカゴ・トリビューン紙”と評された。更に、ファビオ・ルイジ指揮ライプツィヒ放響、サンクトペテルブルグ響ほか、リトアニア、ドイツ、スウェーデン、イタリアなど、ヨーロッパに活躍の場を広げる。
日本へは97年、チョン・ミョンフン指揮アジア・フィルのソリストとして初来日。同年、ニューヨークのモーストリー・モーツァルト・フェスティバル・オーケストラとのツアーで再来日し、その年の演奏活動に対して、リンカーンセンターより、エヴリー・フィッシャー賞を受賞。以後、定期的に来日して、日本の主要オーケストラと共演を重ねる他、インバル指揮ベルリン響、フェドセーエフ指揮モスクワ放響、プレトニョフ指揮ロシア・ナショナル管などの日本公演のソリストに迎えられ、高度な技術と作品の品位を尊ぶ深い音楽性に高い評価を得ている。　2010年、ドイツ国内10都市において、ヴィヴァルディ：四季・コンサートツアーを行なう。2015年は小菅優とのデュオでドイツ･ツアーを実施。近年はワシントンや淡路島で自ら企画するコンサートを行うなど、コンサート・プロデューサーとしての才能も発揮している。
CDはエイベックス・クラシックスより2004年協奏曲によるデビュー・アルバムをリリース。セカンドアルバム「リサイタル！」は『レコード芸術』の特選盤に選ばれ、09年には「ヴィヴァルディ:四季」をリリース。室内楽にも積極的に取り組み、遠藤真理、三浦友理枝とのトリオ「RAVEL」をリリース。最新CDは「ライブ・イン・ワシントン」。
使用楽器は、1779年製ジョヴァンニ・バティスタ・グァダニーニ（S&R財団貸与）。ミュンヘン在住。
