1989年、日本人の父とハンガリー人の母のもとに生まれる
6歳よりハンガリーのピアノ教育第一人者チェ・ナジュ・タマーシュネーに師事、単身ハンガリーに留学し祖父母の家よりバルトーク音楽小学校に通う。1997年と2000年に全国連弾コンクールで優勝し、2001年には全国ピアノコンクール9～11歳の部で優勝。
2001年（11歳）飛び級でハンガリー国立リスト音楽院大学（特別才能育成コース）に入学、エックハルト・ガーボル、 ケヴェハージ・ジュンジ 、ワグナー・リタの各氏に師事。
2006年（16歳）全課程取得とともに日本に帰国。東京音楽大学付属高等学校２年に編入し、清水和音、迫昭嘉、三浦捷子の各氏に師事。
2009年シャネル ピグマリオン・デイズ アーティストに選ばれ、銀座シャネル・ネクサス・ホールにて定期的にリサイタルを行う。
2010年10月にリリースされたデビューアルバム「プレイズ・リスト」はレコード芸術誌の特選盤に選ばれた。2011年第12回ホテルオークラ音楽賞を受賞。2012年第22回出光音楽賞を受賞、また優れた若手芸術家を支援するために設立されたアーカイム日露友好協会の奨学生となる。2012年第4回C.I.V.C.ジョワドヴィーヴル賞を受賞。2013年、平成24年度上毛賞「第10回上毛芸術文化賞 音楽部門）」を受賞。 2014年には、ゾルタン・コチシュ指揮／ハンガリー国立フィルハーモニー管弦楽団とツアーを行い、好評を博した。2015年１月には準・メルクル指揮／読売日本交響楽団定期演奏会に出演。
これまでに小林研一郎指揮／読売日本交響楽団、新日本フィルハーモニー交響楽団、大阪センチュリー交響楽団（現日本センチュリー交響楽団）、下野竜也指揮／京都市交響楽団などと共演、また広上淳一指揮／東京音楽大学シンフォニーオーケストラのヨーロッパ公演のソリストに選ばれ、ミュンヘン、ウィーンにてリストのピアノ協奏曲第2番を演奏し好評を博した。その他、今までにハンガリー、アメリカ、フランス、ドイツ、オーストリア、スイス、ギリシャ、ルーマニア、チェコ、ポーランド、中国などで演奏活動を行なう。
東京音楽大学ピアノ演奏家コースを首席で卒業し、同大学院器楽専攻鍵盤楽器研究領域を修了。
日本デビュー5周年となる今年2016年3月にユニバーサル･ミュージックより新譜のCD「ラ･カンパネラ～革命のピアニズム」をリリース、9月にはソロ･リサイタル「金子三勇士5大ソナタに挑む！」を開催する。キシュマロシュ名誉市民（ハンガリー）
