Giuseppe ANDALOROピアノ

1982年パレルモ生まれ。世界を舞台に活躍する同世代を代表するピアニストの一人。ザルツブルク音楽祭、スポレートの二つの世界フェスティバル、香港ショパンフェスティバル、ブレッシャ･ベルガモのアルトゥーロ・ベネデッティ・ミケランジェリ国際ピアノフェスティバルなど重要な音楽祭に招聘される。また、ミラノ・スカラ座、ナポリのサン・カルロ劇場、ザルツブルクのモーツァルテウム大ホール、ウィーン楽友協会、ロンドンのロイヤル・フェスティバル・ホールやクイーン・エリザベス・ホール、カザルスホールなど、世界各地の主要なホールで演奏を重ね、ロンドンフィルハーモニー管弦楽団、NHK交響楽団、ローマ・サンタ・チェチーリア国立管弦楽団、ミラノ・ジュゼッペ・ヴェルディ交響楽団など国際的に著名なオーケストラと共演している。
レパートリーはイタリアのルネサンス音楽から現代曲までと幅広い。
ロンドン国際ピアノコンクール、第1回仙台国際音楽コンクール、香港国際ピアノコンクール、ブゾーニ国際コンクールなど多くのコンクールで優勝。2005年には、イタリア文化省芸術勲章受賞。
国際ピアノコンクールの審査委員や、マスタークラスを行うなど、活動は多岐にわたり、作曲や指揮にも取り組んでいる。
アルバムも数多くリリースしており、2013年にリリースされた最新アルバム「Cruel Beauty」は、ルネサンス後期からバロック初期にかけてのイタリア音楽の「ワールド・プレミア」として評価されている。
